How I clean my VRBO (Non-Toxic & Chemical-Free)
May 06, 2025
Gary Brecka (popular Human Biologist and Biohacker) loves Hydrogen-Rich Water (HRW), and we love him for spreading the message!
HRW Benefits:
- It offers over 170 documented therapeutic benefits for the body
- It's a selective antioxidant, which means the H₂ gas neutralizes harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS)
- Boosts mitochondrial performance and ATP production, helping your body and brain stay sharp, energized, and resilient.
- Supports Detox Pathways + Genetic Health
Best of all? It helps to reduce cellular aging and inflammation exactly where you need it the MOST!
There are now over 3,000+ published medical and scientific studies showing hydrogen’s positive effects with zero side effects. Gary uses both ionizers and tablets to get his daily H₂. For a therapeutic dose, the sweet spot is around 0.5–1.5 ppm in 2 liters daily.³
Here’s where we differ from Gary: we don’t use bottles, tablets, or H₂ bags. (Check out our resource links below). We’ve relied on medical-grade water ionizers for the last eight years. At home, we clean it monthly and replace filters annually. It’s simple. But there’s something even more powerful that many people miss: keeping your home chemical-free and non-toxic. That’s why I personally love my ionizer, it creates my drinking water and my cleaning solutions.
Can I tell you a quick story?
We got our VRBO cleaned by professional cleaners. Their mopping solution was SO strong that the smell stayed in the house for hours. I texted them and asked if they could use our mop and spray solution (11.5 pH) instead. They graciously obliged and even texted me the solution they used: Fabuloso. Given that work I’m in, I quickly researched and apparently my nose (and no doubt my GSTP1 Genetic SNP) wasn’t lying. Fabuloso has been recalled! Not due to the toxic chemicals, but the Pseudomonas bacteria. I guess not all multi-purpose cleaners are anti-bacterial. If you go down a second rabbit hole, you really don’t want a pseudomonas infection. In particular, it’s hard to find the right antibiotic as many pseudomonas have become resistant, and sometimes surgery is needed.² Geez, not so Fabuloso!¹
Some toxic ingredients are Glutaral, sodium laureth sulfate, and Fragrance. The Colgate and Palmolive company says it best on its Fabuloso website: do not inhale, do not get it on your skin, and keep it away from children and pets.
Can non-toxic and chemical-free solutions really keep my house clean? We’ve received 82 five-star reviews and a perfect 10/10 cleanliness rating. Here’s what we use to clean our VRBO and home regularly. Children and pets are welcome!
-
11.5 pH for degreasing, mopping, and stain removal, no smell, just clean.
-
2.5 pH kills 99.9% of bacteria in under 30 seconds, safe for all surfaces, even fabrics. Better than bleach!
-
6.0 pH beauty water replaces glass cleaners like Windex.
-
Bar Keeper’s Friend for occasional scrubbing.
- Method's Toilet Bowl Cleaner, because the Spearmint scent is non-toxic and smells great!
